Zodiac Signs with Mutable Quality

The Mutable Quality, along with the Qualities Cardinal and also the Fixed one, constitute the three Astrology Qualities, The Mutable Quality represents change and the ability to adapt to change whether planned or unexpected.

The Mutable Quality meaning encompasses a desire to end one thing and to start something new, as in the ending of a season and the beginning of a new season.

The Mutable Quality; Changeability in the Zodiac Qualities

All of the Zodiac signs of the Quality Mutable are positioned in months that end one season and begin another; each with a penchant for looking forward to the future, as a result of the change intrinsic to transition. The pursuit of change in the Mutable Quality is in stark contrast to the stability sought by those with the Fixed Dominant Quality. Beyond embracing change, the Mutable Dominant Quality also adapts well to their changing environment, some more easily than others depending upon the impact of their Astrological Element, be it Water, Air, Fire, or Earth.

The Astrology Qualities are delegated to all Zodiac signs in order to generate a greater understanding of the Astrology information garnered from the study of the Planetary Rulerships, in relation to the Zodiac Qualities and Astrological Elements. The Zodiac Qualities in Astrology are inherent to the manner in which action is taken within the realm of outer surroundings.

As Astrology evolved into a science, mathematics proved to be essential to the formulation of the Zodiac Qualities and Astrological Elements. The 12 Planetary Rulerships of the Zodiac were divided into groups of Three or Four. The Zodiac Sign Qualities are grouped by Three, Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable, but each of the Zodiac Qualities contains Four Planetary Rulerships.
