Free Tarot Reading: Tarot Horoscope

Welcome to the Monthly Tarotscope, a combination of Astrology and Tarot/Oracle Cards. Each month I will draw a card for your sign of the Zodiac. That card represents the meditation for the month for that Sun Sign. The Sun Sign represents your Primary Drive in life, how you best manifest your Life Path, and how the light of the Sun energizes you each day. This month I have chosen to use The Enchanted Map Oracle Cards by Colette Baron-Reid.

Tarotscope for Aries (Mar 21 to Apr 19)

The Tower Haindl Tarot

Maverick Active Fire energy fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best independently; you must learn self-discipline to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 16th card of the Majors, The Tower.  The question to answer is, “What has blown up or what needs blowing up?”  The action to consider taking: if you are on the receiving end of a Tower moment, then you need to rebuild.  If you need to cause a Tower event, then the sooner, the better.

The Hebrew letter is Peh, “Mouth”; the rune is Yr, “Wrong”.  The astrology symbol is Mars, and the element for the card is Fire.  Rachel Pollack writes, “the Haindl version of the Tower may refer to some kind of long-standing activity or a particular approach to a situation.  [You] have been stubbornly continuing in the same path despite clear signs of danger.” Thus, the Tower “acts as a warning” and you must adjust before the situation really becomes explosive.  If the Tower relates to an event that has already happened, then it is time to rebuild.

Tarotscope for Taurus (Apr 20 to May 20)

The Lovers Haindl Tarot

Persistent Stable Earth energy fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when you feel secure; you must learn some degree of adaptability to manifest your best results. Your card this month is 6th card of the Majors, The Lovers. The question to answer is, “What do I need to know about my romantic relationship (if you have one)?  Or, what do I need to know about finding my romantic partner?” The action to consider taking: focus on how you connect or want to connect intimately with another person.

The Hebrew letter is Zain, “Sword”; the rune is Ken, “Torch”.  The astrology symbol is the sign Gemini, and the element for the card is Air.  The imagery in the card reflects the connection between divine energy and sexual union, shown in the symbols of the spear pointing downwards to the chalice.  The male and female individuals represent the procreative potential of the union.  The card also represents a choice, as well as the many versions of love that interact with the primary drive of romantic love.

Tarotscope for Gemini (May 21 to Jun 20)

4 of Cups Haindl tarot

Curious Adaptable Air energy fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best-doing tasks that stimulate your mind in a variety of ways; you must learn how to focus-on-demand to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 4 of Cups, Mixed Happiness.  The question to answer is, “What must I endure?” The action to consider taking: realize that you cannot get everything you want at this time and you will need to accept some challenges along with rewards.

The hexagram for this card is number 3, Chun – “to assemble”.  In the background, we see the changing of the season, which often brings mixed results and mixed feelings.  The cups face one another at such an angle that emotion is both pouring out and pouring in.  Think of getting your ideal job only to find out your boss or co-workers are difficult or unpleasant.  You have a beautiful day for a walk, but feel unsettled about an issue or relationship.  Sometimes in life, you just have to power through and persist.

Tarotscope for Cancer (Jun 21 to Jul 22)Ace of Swords Haindl tarot

Nurturing Active Water fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when you care-take yourself and others properly; you must learn “emotional balance” to manifest your best results. Your card this month the Ace of Swords in the South.  The question to answer is, “What decisions do I need to make and address now?”  The action to consider taking: stop analyzing and make choices.  Use logic and reason to help you, and do not hesitate once you know what you need to decide.

The sword is pointing or dropping downward to pierce the mound, surrounded by the swirling winds (of confusion, doubt, and noise).  The wind does not deter the sword from its target or affect its movement towards its target.  When the Ace of Swords appears, you need to consider a new view or idea, a new way of thinking.  The energy of the South represents Egyptian advancements in technology, law, and civilization, which are all under the jurisdiction of the mind and the swords.

Tarotscope for Leo (Jul 23 to Aug 22)2 of Cups Haindl tarot

Strong-burning Stable Fire fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when you are creative; you must learn structure to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 2 of Cups, Love.  The question to answer is, “Who am I attracted to and who am I attracting?” The action to consider taking: make a new friend, share your feelings with a friend, or deepen a connection into something romantic if the energy leads you there.

The hexagram for this card is number 1, Chyan – “positiveness and the creative”.  The two cups, upright, and with matching energy arching above them, show the parallel connection that comes when someone loves the same movies we love or share the same passions we enjoy.  The peacock represents beauty and the pleasure we experience when we see something or someone we consider beautiful.  This card connects us with the love energy of initial attraction.

Tarotscope for Virgo (Aug 23 to Sep 22)6 of Stones Haindl tarot

Practical Adaptable Earth fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when you get all the details in order; you must learn to “see the forest for the trees” to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 6 of Stones, Success.  The question to answer is, “What have I accomplished?” The action to consider taking: acknowledge your success and consider how you will continue to thrive and grow.

The hexagram for this card is number 55, Fong – “over-capacity”.  The 6 stones in the symmetrical pattern indicate a solid process and result; there is balance and abundance.  Hard work is being rewarded and can be a foundation for expansion and savings.  If you feel like your success is new, keep doing what needs to be done to be successful.  If you feel the success has been ongoing and you need a new challenge (7 of Stones), think about how you need to stretch yourself (through promotion or even new job).

Tarotscope for Libra (Sep 23 to Oct 22)3 of Stones Haindl tarot

Analytical Active Air fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when acting logically; you must learn to mix in feelings to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 3 of Stones, Work.  The question to answer is, “What do I need to keep working hard on?” The action to consider taking: buckle down, put in the hours, do not complain, and get your work done.

The hexagram for this card is number 13, Tung Ken – “uniting with people”.  The three stones in the pyramid formation represent a cycle of effort that yields consistent and measurable results.  This card appears when we need to put or keep our nose to the grindstone.  You need to do what must be done, no shortcuts, no slacking off.  The more you embrace this card with regard to a current situation, relationship, or issue, the better the outcome.  Laziness or “putting things off” will make matters much worse.

Tarotscope for Scorpio (Oct 23 to Nov 21)2 of Stones Haindl tarot

Intense Persistent Water energy fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when bringing or experiencing transformation; you must learn “playfulness or lightness of heart” to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 2 of Stones, Harmony. The question to answer is, “What is out of balance that needs re-balancing?” The action to consider taking: find equilibrium through action, seek the balanced approach with your efforts; do not underperform, or overextend.

The hexagram for this card is number 16, Yu – “comfort”.  This can be a “favorable time for expansion” so long as you work in a balanced way.  It is also a card of right timing when considering how and when to act.  Pay attention to your situations and relationships, make a note where they may be unbalanced and determine the action you need to take to get in balance.  Pay off debt if you have it, save when you have extra, and spend on yourself when you have excess.

Tarotscope for Sagittarius (Nov 22 to Dec 21)The Chariot Haindl tarot

Expansive Adaptable Fire fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best exploring openly and trying new experiences; you must learn to map and record your knowledge to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 7th card of the Majors, The Chariot. The question to answer is, “What do I need to apply my willpower to?”  The action to consider taking: push hard and assert yourself; do not back down.  Find and use your energy to make the results turn out the way you want.

The Hebrew letter is Cheth, “Fence”; the Rune is Hagall, “Hailstone”.  The astrology symbol is Cancer and the element is water.  Cancer is a cardinal sign, leading and bringing change through emotional conviction and intensity.  The Charioteer knows where he or she is going and will not stop until he or she has reached the intended goal or achieved the sought after outcome.

Tarotscope for Capricorn (Dec 22 to Jan 19)The Universe Haindl tarot

Ambitious Active Earth fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when you are setting and achieving goals; you must learn compassion to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 21st card of the Majors, The Universe.  The question to answer is, “What large cycle in my life is ending?” The action to consider taking: realize that a long process is coming to a conclusion, which you want to celebrate so you can start thinking about your next long-term goal.

The Hebrew letter is Tav, “Signature”; the Rune is “gift”.  The astrology symbol is Saturn and the element is earth.  Before the discovery of Uranus, Saturn represented the outer boundary of the known solar system.  Like each stage in your education, you reach a graduating point that prepares you for the next stage.  You leave the “universe” of middle school to enter the “universe” of high school. You leave the “universe” of adolescence to enter the “universe” of adulthood.  Now is another time to leave one “universe” of your journey to enter a new “universe” of development.

Tarotscope for Aquarius (Jan 20 to Feb 18)Death Haindl tarot

Unconventional Stable Air fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best when you are authentic and unrepentant; you must learn quiet fortitude to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the 13th card of the Majors, Death. The question to answer is, “What needs to transform and be ‘put to rest’?” The action to consider taking: allow yourself a period of mourning regarding a loss or some part of your life that needs to die, in order to be reborn.

The Hebrew letter is Nun, “Fish”; the Rune is Ba or Beorc, “Birch Goddess”.  The astrology is Scorpio and the element is water.  Death is placed, numerically, in the very middle of the Fool’s journey; it is not the final card, but rather a card illustrating the living and dying nature of the incarnation.  The crow, the skeleton with the scythe, and the ferryman, Charon, are all common symbols for death.  Much of life’s purpose unfolds through limitations and endings, as much as through possibilities and beginnings.

Tarotscope for Pisces (Feb 19 to Mar 20)King of Cups Haindl Tarot

Imaginative Adaptable Water fuels your Primary Drive. Your Life Path energy operates best connecting with others emotionally; you must learn toughness to manifest your best results. Your card this month is the Father of Cups in the North, Odin.  The question to answer is, “Who am I responsible for; who seeks my guidance and wisdom?”  The action to consider taking: be ready to offer counsel or instructions for those who come into your life who need “fatherly” emotional support and guidance.

Odin made many sacrifices to gain sight into the future, wisdom for leadership, and power to protect his fellow gods and his people.  Ruthless in his youth, he has the emotional scars that shaped him into the wise leader of the Norse Gods.  This card calls upon you to accept the mantle of leadership at this time, being both stern and compassionate.  Odin discovered and shared the runes with mankind as a tool for spiritual guidance and growth.  You might also seek out a tool for guidance, perhaps runes, or maybe another tool, like astrology or tarot/oracle cards.
