Some people are highly demonstrative, affectionate, openly caring, and loving, and others are not. Those who are not overly lovable don’t mean to be cold and unsupportive on purpose. They tend to demonstrate that they care about you in other ways. Some people are not the touchy-feely type. However, once you get to know them, you will see that they express love and support differently.
Whether or not people are lovable and openly supportive depends on their personality. What has a significant influence on someone’s personality? Their zodiac sign. Let’s now look at the zodiac signs ranking from the most supportive and lovable to the least endearing, or should I say the more aloof type.
Cancer is the most maternal zodiac sign, as it is considered the mother of the zodiac. You can count on a Cancer to being highly affectionate to the point it can be too much. They are natural caregivers and represent how love appears.
That means whenever you go to the home of a Cancer; they will really make you feel like you are at home. You can expect to get a nourishing and delicious comforting meal on top of plenty of doting. Cancers will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, loved, and heard.
While Cancer is the most maternal of the zodiac signs, Pisces is incredibly emotional as both are water signs. When Pisces open their hearts, which is what they naturally do, they will share their emotions which is unconditional love.
Pisces may not be the type to mother you the way Cancer does. However, what you can expect from Pisces is that they will go to the ends of the earth to help you out in any given situation. They will do it with love too. You can count on them to listen to you all night if you need to vent as well.
Libra cares about others’ well-being, especially their loved ones, and does not like to see anyone in pain. That is why you will see that Libras are exceptional listeners. Libras will see those going through their share of pain on an intuitive level, even if they don’t want to talk about it. However, a Libra will encourage you to talk about what is bothering you.
You can expect them to prepare you a cup of tea and have a seat and to talk about what is on your mind. They are there to listen, and they will offer you support and no judgment. They want to see you happy.
Taurus is not the most demonstrative sign. However, it is loyal and honest. You do not have to worry about when it comes to Taurus because they will be dishonest and disloyal. Therefore, Taurus won’t be the most touchy-feely type of sign. But, like Pisces, Taurus will be the one to help you out even if it brings them discomfort. That is how Taurus shows that they care.
The tenacious side of Taurus will help them fight for you and stand up for you if you are struggling with any obstacle. For instance, if you are struggling to find a new private school for your child, you can count on Taurus to find the right one for you. When Taurus makes a promise to do that, they will live up to it.
You may think that Aries would fall at the bottom of the list because this fire sign is known to be self-involved. However, that does not necessarily mean Aries is selfish when it comes to those who they love. They are very devoted to them and will do whatever they can to make them happy, cheerful, and comfortable even if their passionate side can overwhelm them.
If you are having a rough day, you can count on Aries to make your day better. Aries knows how to cheer you up in ways that you would not expect.
Leo falls in the middle of the ranking signs of the most loveable to the least. Leo is very independent and doesn’t need to be with others even though they want others to notice them. However, Leo is friendly and generous, and charming when they choose to be.
Therefore, don’t expect to be nurtured by Leo the same way you would be by Cancer. However, Leo will show that they care by taking you out for a meal to cheer you up, or they may buy you a gift. Their charming side will also lift you, even though they will mostly talk about themselves. That does not mean they won’t listen to you, however, if you are struggling.
Gemini is a dual sign and one of versatility. Therefore, sometimes Gemini will show demonstrative traits, and other times, they will show aloof behavior. That all depends on their mood and state of mind. One moment you will find that the Gemini cares and will listen to what you have to say. However, at another moment, Gemini will almost act as if they are in another world and, at the same time, don’t appear to show much concern over you.
The important thing is not to take how a Gemini behaves personally. Those with this sign are distractable and don’t mean any harm if they act aloof and uncaring. They may seem that way because of being preoccupied with something else.
It is not a surprise that Capricorn begins to rank towards the bottom for lovable signs. That is because cold and stern Saturn rules Capricorn, making the sign appear cold and aloof. Capricorns are not one of those signs that wear their hearts on their sleeves, and they are all about their ambitions and work. That alone gives them more of a cold demeanor.
However, if you are going through a difficult time, Capricorn will listen to you and be sensitive to your needs. Remember that they take on some traits of their opposite sign, which is Cancer. Underneath the individual that has an extreme focus on their work and a cold exterior, there is a soft and loving side.
Aquarius is aloof and private by nature. You see them being caring about the environment and others’ needs in a distant but humanitarian way. However, that is as far as the Aquarian will go. That does not mean Aquarius does not have a soft and caring side beyond that.
You have to earn the trust of an Aquarius for them to let their guard down and show their loving side in a more intimate setting. Otherwise, they will clam up and seem more insensitive and colder than they are.
Sagittarius is all about exploration and going on adventures. Those with the sign are also natural optimists, so they know how to cheer you up when you are down. However, that is the extent of it. You will not find Sagittarians overly demonstrative, loving, and nurturing in any other way.
That does not mean Sagittarius is oblivious to you having difficulty and will be unsupportive towards you. They will support you by helping you look at the bright side of life and invite you to go on one of their adventures.
Scorpio is a water sign, but unlike Cancer and Pisces, the sign falls at the bottom of the ranking for lovable signs. Scorpio is a water sign that shows that it is emotional, but Scorpios are intense and can become emotionally tiring for that reason. They are also private by nature.
That is because Scorpios hold their intense feelings in and try to maintain a mysterious demeanor. What happens when it comes to filling anything to the rim? It spills out, and the same goes for the emotions that Scorpio tends to hold in. That is why you see them sulking or silently brooding. Like Aquarius, Scorpio does not trust easily. Therefore, instead of Scorpio being loving and demonstrative towards you, you have to be that way towards them to encourage them to open up – and allow them to do it when they are ready. Eventually, they will come around and show appreciation to you for helping them.
Virgo falls at the bottom of the ranking for the most lovable signs. That is because Virgo is a very analytical sign that is naturally detached. Virgo does not trust easily and will disregard their emotional side. That is because they are too practical.
However, that does not mean that a Virgo does not care if you are going through a difficult time. Virgo will not coddle you. Instead, they will encourage you to eat healthily, get exercise, and do something positive for yourself. From a practical standpoint, those things will help you feel better. They are too detached from your emotions, as well as from theirs. They are not demonstrative, sensitive, and can bring on a tough-love approach towards anyone having a hard time.
However, what if you are a Virgo and behave more like a Cancer as far as being outwardly supportive and lovable? Or, what if you are a Cancer, and you are aloof and provide the tough-love approach when it comes to supporting others? That boils down to your Moon and rising sign and house placement.
For instance, if you are a Virgo and have a Scorpio Moon and a Capricorn rising sign, but you are a good listener – there are reasons for that being the case. Perhaps your Moon, other than being in its fall, is in good condition in your Twelfth House, which tends to gravitate people to confide in you, and you will listen to them. One example of how you are a good listener may be out of character for your Sun, Moon, and rising sign. That is one of the reasons that your horoscope makes things complex.
