There are numerous types of relationships to explore when considering compatibility between two signs. We grow up in a parent/child dynamic. Outside our family, we form friendships with other children and eventually other adults. We look for and find love. And, we go to work and have careers, interacting with employers and co-workers.
Each sign-to-sign interaction guides our behavior in every relationship. Read through this section to find out how each of the above dynamics works astrologically so you can experience the optimal way to communicate and get along with your sign and all the other signs.
The Pisces-and-Pisces interaction is one of the more inconsistent same sign combinations. Pisces is the “I dream” sign of the Zodiac and is intuitive, visionary, and imaginative. A long-term relationship (outside parent/child) is possible, but not reliable, since this sign prefers to attach itself to fixed signs, first and foremost, then cardinal ones. Virgo is the exception because that sign opposes Pisces. This sign prefers the “container” of other signs, so it’s easy to see why this energy would have trouble staying together with itself.
Pisces Parent/Pisces Child
The Pisces parent and Pisces child can do well together if the parent has learned how to operate in life with proper boundaries that he or she can teach to their child. The Pisces parent wants to help his or her child find their purpose and realize their dreams. Exploring and expressing one’s imagination is deeply important to Pisces. The Pisces child needs to be protected emotionally until he or she develops proper boundaries, since this is the most sensitive sign in the Zodiac, with the possible exception of Cancer, another of the water signs.
Pisces Friend/Pisces Friend
Pisces to Pisces friends can have a lifelong friendship even if they only meet once and never again. That may seem odd to say, but a significant friendship moment can live on in the Pisces imagination for a lifetime. These friends can also easily move in and out of one another’s lives, going with whatever flow the universe has in mind for them. If there is a spiritual connection, then the friendship will be “for all time” regardless of how it manifests in day-to-day life over the limited time they are “on planet”.
Pisces Lover/Pisces Lover
This romance, love, sex combination is one of the hardest to define in any general way, which makes sense with the last sign of the Zodiac. More often than not, the romance and sex will need a spiritual, even mystical component, or it could just be a one-night stand easily forgotten in the immensity of eternity. For one of the lovers, it could be the most profound experience and for the other, the most mundane and forgettable. There really is no consistency with this sign, especially when dealing with another of “its kind”.
Pisces Employer/Pisces Employee
The Pisces employer and the Pisces employee is a bit more clearly defined because of the power dynamics of their positions. A Pisces employer wants employees to find their purpose working for the company or organization. This can prove to be a great work environment for a Pisces employee, so long as they agree that their purpose for being is tied to the work for the company or organization. Otherwise, this can be difficult interaction, with the Pisces employee out the door rather quickly, either by choice or not.
Pisces Co-worker/Pisces Co-worker
Pisces co-workers can get along just fine or not get along just fine; such is the nature of their design. They are the ducks, floating on rough waters, letting the stormy rainfall off their backs. While they are the most sensitive sign, they can also adapt quickly to another co-worker’s empathy or apathy. For the most part, these two individuals can work together and intuitively figure out the best way to be co-workers.
