Determining Your Daily Cycle Number

Numerology is the study of numbers as meaningful constructs related to human consciousness.  Numbers occupy our lives in many ways, starting with number values associated with the letters of words, especially our names.

We have the numbers of our birth day, month, and year.  Most countries have a number sequence for citizens (in the United States, it is the 9-digit Social Security Number or SSN).  Most of us have a phone number; if we drive a car, we have a number plate.  Each word and sequence of numbers can be reduced to a number between 1 and 9, and each of those numbers has spiritual meaning.

This article will explore the number meaning of your individual day.

The Calculation

To calculate the number of your current individual day, which will let you know where you are in your cycle sequence, I will use the method laid out by Morris C Goodman on page 43 of Modern Numerology.

You use:

  1. The number of your month of birth
  2. The number of your day of birth
  3. The present year
  4. The number of the current calendar month
  5. The number of the current calendar day

This article is being written on January (1) 23, 2020.  My birth month is April (4) and my birth day is 12. So, my individual day number today is: 4+12+2020+2+23=18=9; tomorrow my number will be 4+12+2020+2+24=19=10=1.

Even if you know the sequence you want to pay attention to the total before reducing because one of your 2, 4, 6, 8, or 1 days could be a master number (11, 22, 33, 44, or 55).  In my case, the 27th of this month will be 4+12+2020+2+27=22=4.

Next Monday will be a good day to look at my investments, address important matters involving my children, or making improvements to my home.  Since the 22 is the total number, I will want to be sure to consider all decisions with the help of my wife.

The Vibration of Each Individual Day Number

On each 1st day, you should “awake with new energy, fine spirits, and an eagerness to leap out of bed and get things started (45).

On each 2nd day, you should cooperate with others, ask for favors, grant favors, and be patient; it is not a day to rush (46).

On each 3rd day, you should “find yourself giving full expression to all that is in you” to a group or organization that needs your energy that day (47)

On each 4th day, you should build something, fix something, put some money in savings, and organize something (48).

On each 5th day, you should do something active, get out and about, make a change, speak to someone new or someone you have not talked to in a while (49).

On each 6th day, you should celebrate in some way, do something fun and playful, give yourself a gift, and show the people you care about that you appreciate them (49).

On each 7th day, you should take some time to yourself, detach and reflect, find a quiet place to rest your mind and soul, eat away from co-workers, and set your phone to silent and let the answering service catch calls until you are ready to respond (50).

On each 8th day, you should take the lead and express your desires, be extroverted and outgoing, apply for a job or ask for a promotion, and speak up (50).

On each 9th day you should feel your feelings the strongest, so be aware of your energy.  Positively, you can a lot of good on a 9, but negatively, you can also do a lot of harm (51).

Your Life Path Number and Your Individual Day Number

It is rather easy to calculate your life path number; it is simply the total of your birthday reduced to a single digit.  In my case, I was born on 04/12/1968, which equals 31, which reduces to a 4.  My life path is about working hard, establishing a solid foundation, and staying within my limits.  In relation to my individual day number 9, I should pay attention to how I choose to use my energy since either positive or negative outcomes will be enhanced by my mood and feelings.

Life Path Number 1

If you happen to have a life path number 1 (The Pioneer), then your individual day numbers really do focus on what you need to do for yourself that helps you succeed in your work, relationships, and daily interactions with others.

Life Path Number 2

If you happen to have a life path number 2 (The Partner), then your individual day numbers are concerned with how to help others and maintain and improve your various relationships, with family, friends, and romantic partners.

Life Path Number 3

If you happen to have a life path number 3 (The Creator), then your individual day numbers need to be used to facilitate your creativity and help you work with the ebb and flow of your creative process and how it affects your work, relationships, and daily interactions with others.

Life Path Number 4

If you happen to have a life path number 4 (The Builder), then your individual day numbers guide you to figure out how to maintain, build, and save to help you sustain and improve your sense of security, which helps you feel successful in your work, relationships, and daily interactions with others.

Life Path Number 5

If you happen to have a life path number 5 (The Traveler), then your individual day numbers should be used to help you with the rhythm of activity that you need to enjoy exploring life through your work, relationships, and daily interactions with others.

Life Path Number 6

If you happen to have a life path number 6 (The Educator), then your individual day numbers should be utilized to help you learn, absorb knowledge, develop skills, and teach others so you can be even more effective in your work, relationships, and daily interactions with others.

Life Path Number 7

If you happen to have a life path number 7 (The Mystic), then your individual day numbers will help you weave through your spiritual lessons as a cycle of increasing awareness so you can discover more about your purpose and provide guidance to those you work with, are in relationship with, and encounter each day.

Life Path Number 8

If you happen to have a life path number 8 (The Leader), then your individual day numbers are there to help you succeed in different ways each day to build a legacy of achievement that you can use to be successful in your work, relationships, and daily interactions with others.

Life Path Number 9

If you happen to have a life path number 9 (The Counselor), then your individual day numbers help you build your wisdom in different ways according to each recurring number, so you can be a positive role model and active guide to those you work with, who are in relationship with you, and who encounter you each day.
