Best Climate and Geography for your Zodiac Sign

The Best Climate and Geography for your Zodiac Sign

Each sign is ruled by an element and expresses itself with a quality. These combinations create twelve distinct expressions that will appreciate certain climates and geography. There are five climates: tropical, dry, temperate, continental, and polar. And there are two general geographical features: bodies of water and landforms. This article will explore which signs would prefer to live where in terms of the climate and geography of the Earth.

Climates

From SciJinks.gov

Today, climate scientists split the Earth into approximately five main types of climates. They are:

Next after this publicity

A: Tropical. In this hot and humid zone, the average temperatures are greater than 64°F (18°C) year-round and there is more than 59 inches of precipitation each year.

B: Dry. These climate zones are so dry because moisture is rapidly evaporated from the air and there is very little precipitation.

C: Temperate. In this zone, there are typically warm and humid summers with thunderstorms and mild winters.

D. Continental. These regions have warm to cool summers and very cold winters. In the winter, this zone can experience snowstorms, strong winds, and very cold temperatures—sometimes falling below -22°F (-30°C)!

E: Polar. In the polar climate zones, it’s extremely cold. Even in summer, the temperatures here never go higher than 50°F (10°C)!

Geographical Features

From lisbdnet.com

Geographical features are defined as natural and man-made resources that can be found on Earth’s surface. A geographical feature is anything you find outside such as a body of water, land formation or even an artificial structure like a building or road. Some familiar examples of geographical features include:

  • Bodies of Water
  • Landform
  • Man-made Structures

This article will only include natural examples.

Bodies of Water

These include:

  • Basins
  • Oceans
  • Seas
  • Lakes
  • River Systems
  • Wetlands
  • Waterfalls

Landforms

These include:

  • Mountains and Foothills
  • Coasts
  • Plateaus
  • Mesas
  • Valleys
  • Plains
  • Deserts
  • Canyons
  • Rainforests
  • Woodlands

And the best Climate and Geography for your Zodiac Sign is…

Aries – Dry/Desert

Aries is the cardinal fire sign, so it should come as no surprise that they would prefer warm, even hot climates and potentially dangerous terrains. Desert landscapes and climates appeal to their Spartan natures, where the question of survival is a constant part of the life equation.

Taurus – Temperate/Plains near Woodlands

Taurus is the fixed earth sign, which will prefer to settle down where they can grow food and build farms. A temperate climate is best for growing food, and the plains will make for the best farmland. Being near a forest will provide additional resources that would allow them to build homes with natural resources and support themselves.

Gemini – Continental/Mountains and Foothills

Gemini is the mutable air sign, and they will prefer variety, which the geography of the mountains and foothills will certainly provide. As an air sign, they will enjoy being close to the sky when they hike to the top of the mountains. They can also enjoy colder climates and would be one of the signs that could also find a way to live in a polar region, if so inclined.

Cancer – Tropical/Lake or River Systems

Cancer is the cardinal water sign, preferring to be anywhere that life flourishes and the climate is humid. Being near water is a must, so lakes and rivers teeming with fish in the water and wildlife drawn to the water source are ideal for them. They love to nurture the living world, so the richest environments, those near the equator, will appeal the most to them.

Leo – Temperate/Valleys

Leo is the fixed fire sign and certainly wants to be where the most people will gather, which is why they will be strongly attracted to temperate climates and valley landforms. These two “sweet spots” in terms of climate and geographical features will be sure to attract the most human interactivity and commerce, which will give a Leo plenty of opportunity to lead, perform, and compete.

Virgo – Temperate/Plains near Lakes or River Systems

Virgo is the mutable earth sign, and like all earth signs, will prefer to be where food production and commerce can thrive. Truthfully, this sign is the most adaptable and can live in any climate and on any landform. They will enjoy inland bodies of water the most.

Libra – Temperate/Valleys, Coasts, River Systems, and Oceans

Libra is the cardinal air sign and prefers to interact with people almost as much as Leo, which is why the climate and geographical features are the same. Their motivations are different, since this sign rules legal matters, making them a sign that wants climate and geography to support the hearts of civilization, which will be the most fertile areas with commercial access, meaning river systems and oceans.

Scorpio – Tropical or Polar/Coasts, Oceans, and Seas

Scorpio is the fixed water sign and can handle extremes. Wherever the most challenging places to live, based on climate and geographical features, a Scorpio can make a home. As a water sign, they will prefer to be near water, but with Pluto as the ruler, the deeper and vaster the water the better, hence the call of the ocean and the seas will sing to their hearts.

Sagittarius – Everywhere

Sagittarius is the mutable fire sign and the explorer of the Zodiac. Hence, there is no climate or geographical feature they will not enjoy. Really, any combination will work for this sign, but likely only for a short period of time. After all, they need to experience them all before they die.

Capricorn Temperate and Continental/Any Landform, River Systems, and Oceans

Capricorn is the cardinal earth sign and will prefer to be where commerce is happening, so river systems and coastal regions will dominate across the full range of climates, but especially temperate and continental ones, where most people live; and industry, over agriculture, can develop.

Aquarius – Any Climate/Plateaus, Mountains and Foothills, and Mesas

Aquarius is the fixed air sign and will enjoy being “high up” when it comes to geographical features. They can enjoy any climate, but would probably favor the continental region, leaning towards colder rather than warmer temperatures.

Pisces – Tropical/Coasts, Wetlands, Oceans, and Seas

Pisces is the mutable water sign, ruled by Neptune, so the oceans and seas will draw them. Like Cancer, they prefer areas teeming with life, so hot and humid regions will also work for them. Being mutable, they can adapt to almost any region, but the water connection will be essential.
