The Numerology of Your Wedding Date

Numerology is the study of the spiritual meaning of numbers. Numerology assigns a number to each letter of the alphabet in order to derive a single number for your name.  This number is your Destiny number.  The total of your birthday numbers reduced to a single number is your Life Path number.  These two numbers form the foundation of your personal numerology.  When combined, you derive your Soul Purpose number.

These three numbers guide your numerology in every aspect of your life.  Beyond our personal numbers, we have numbers for key events and persistent, but not permanent numbers, like our phone number or license plate number.  This article will look at the numerology of your wedding date.

The Life Path Number of your Wedding

Your personal Life Path Number is the total of your birth date reduced to a single digit (unless it happens to be a master number – 11, 22, 33, 44, and 55, which should be understood as 11/2, 22/4, 33/6, 44/8, and 55/1).  Therefore, the Life Path Number of your marriage is the total of your wedding date, reduced to a single digit or master number/single digit combination.

In my case, I have been married twice.  My first marriage took place on July 24, 1992, which is 7+24+1992, which totals 2023, which reduces to a 7, the Mystic.  I was 24 years old when I got married that year.  My second marriage took place on February 10, 2017, which is 2+10+2017, which totals 2029, which reduces to 13, then to 4.

These dates can be further understood for each individual number associated with the month, day, and year.  In the first marriage, the three numbers are 7, 6, and (21)/3.  The second marriage, the three numbers are 2, 1, (10)/1.  So, all four numbers end up as 7, 6, 3, and 7 on the first wedding date and 2, 1, 1, and 4 on the second wedding date.

Now, my personal numbers are 3 for my Destiny Number, 4 for my Life Path Number, and 7 for my Soul Purpose Number.  Without a doubt, my first marriage triggered quite a bit of energy for both my Destiny Number 3 and my Soul Purpose 7.  While the marriage ultimately failed “in the real world”, it certainly moved me through a tremendous transformation and growth, as is want to happen when 7 is involved.

The second marriage is still going strong and the matching Life Path Number 4 and wedding date number 4 provide what I do think will be a lasting, “rest of my life” connection.  The 2 for the month of February is an excellent number for a marriage and the 1s promote individualism within the marriage … inside the container of the 4.
