Neptune in Aries from March 30 to Oct 22, 2025: What It Means for You
April 8, 2025 | Miriam Rachel
Neptune, the planet associated with dreams, spirituality and illusions, moved out of its home sign of Pisces on March 30th. From March 30th through October 22nd of 2025 Neptune will be in Aries. Due to its annual retrograde, Neptune will dip its proverbial toes back into the cool waters of Pisces from October 22nd 2025 through January 25th 2026. After that, because of Neptune’s slow orbit, we will never again see Neptune in Pisces in any of our lifetimes!
The Planet Neptune
Neptune is an icy gas giant, the largest and farthest away planet (that we know of) in our solar system. Neptune rules over many things such as television, prisons, make up, dreams, mind altering substances, and mysticism. What do all these things have in common? They deal in terms of illusions and delusions. When we mess with the fabric of reality, we are playing with our more Neptunian dispositions.
The History of Neptune in Aries
The last time Neptune was in Aries was from 1861 to 1875. During this period of 14 years the world saw many conflicts and wars. A main feature of Neptune’s transit through Aries seems to be civil war. In the 1860s we saw civil wars taking place in China, Japan, Spain, Venezuela, New Zealand and the United States, to name a few.

Neptune in Aries: the Rise of the Underdog
After close to two decades in Pisces, the fire of Neptune in Aries seems to give way to passionate, charismatic leaders and their causes for liberation against unjust governing bodies. While Neptune in Pisces brings on a certain idealism and connection to spiritual endeavors, it also tends to showcase a lack in “boundaries” between the people and the state. Once Neptune ingresses into Fire sign Aries, the heat gets turned up and people are more drawn to leaders who can usher them out of struggle and strife, in a sometimes destructive manner.
Being that Neptune’s orbit is 165 earth years, the sign it is in in your birth chart is a larger indication of how your generation deals with themes of spirituality, religion, illusions, delusions and more. As the transit planet Neptune (transit here means the one in orbit, as opposed to the stationary placement of Neptune in your birth chart) moves through Aries, it will be affecting the area of your life as it relates to which house Aries is in in your birth chart. You don’t need to be an astrology wiz to understand this concept, simply read below for your rising sign.
Aries
Neptune will be traversing your 1st house of identity, body and worldview. This can lead you down a more spiritual path due to Neptune’s proclivity towards sensitivity, empathy and mysticism. This heightened state of intuition can also make discerning boundaries much more of a struggle, meaning that your sense of self will be less defined than usual.
Taurus
Neptune will be moving through your 12th house of the unconscious. This is a fertile time to grow into your spiritual beliefs, especially as they relate to anxiety, mediumship, the universe. The downside of having Neptune in these murky waters of the 12th house is that boundaries between worlds are harder to recognize and enforce.

Gemini
Neptune will be in your 11th house during this transit. This is the house of social groups and dreams. Neptune shines here, giving you a larger sense of community and an idealistic view of what those groups need to thrive. The only downside here is the penchant for dreaming big without any real way of achieving said dreams.
Neptune is now in your 10th house, the house which rules over career and your life’s legacy. This could be the year you get your big break, especially if you work in a creative field. Just be cautious that your newfound sense of fame and fortune isn’t a facade. Others may seek to take as much from you as they can, so make sure to read and sign all legal documents carefully.
Leo
Neptune now sits in the 9th house, your house of personal life beliefs and philosophy. While here you will find yourself drawn to modalities like spirituality, religion and philosophy. There is little to be said of the cons of having Neptune here since most transits that occur in the 9th house are overwhelmingly auspicious.
Virgo
Neptune will be living in your 8th house now. The 8th house has to do with emotional bonding and the energy that ties us to people, places and belongings. Things can get dicey while Neptune is here. Boundaries are illusive or simply ignored. This leads to intense karmic bonds with others. However, this is also a time to transform your pain into power!
Libra
Oh Libra, your love of love will be tested while Neptune is in Aries in your 7th house. The 7th house, sitting directly opposite your ascendant, deals with serious partnerships (marriage, business, best friends). On the one hand, your heart will be deliciously open to unconditional love. On the other hand, your rose colored glasses can prevent you from seeing the very real issues that need attending to in any long term relationship.

Scorpio
Neptune is now in your 6th house which deals with the mundane daily tasks of life and work, as well as health and wellness. The psychosomatic relationship between your mental state and your physical body becomes more pronounced (mental health equals physical health), so take all those aches and pains seriously. Daily spiritual practices will do you well!
Sagittarius
Neptune is in your 5th house now. This is the house of creativity, joy, playfulness, and sex. While Neptune is here you will experience a boost in all your creative endeavors. Love and dating will feel playful and exciting, but be sure to always practice safe sex unless you desire having children. Unexpected pregnancies are more frequent under this transit.
Capricorn
Neptune now sits at the bottom of your chart in your 4th house of home, family and roots. Everyone has a different story about the past, and that will never be more true than when Neptune sits in your 4th house. You may be called to become closer or, alternatively, distance yourself from your family.
Aquarius
You have Neptune in your 3rd house of the familiar. Things like short travel (think cars, buses and bike rides to work), siblings, cousins and knowledge fall under the rule of the 3rd house. Any kind of learning is more fun and yet also more challenging now since details aren’t likely to stick in your brain. However, creative communication such as song writing, poetry and any form of art comes much more easily to you.
Pisces
Neptune has left your 1st house and is now sitting in your 2nd house of self worth, money and possessions. Money problems may be plenty, but this is also a unique opportunity for you to redefine your values. What does success really mean for you? This will become clear over the next 15 years.
