This practice aims to bring more abundance into your life—whether in love, career, or health. It’s a monthly reminder to align with your intentions and let the Universe know you’re ready to receive. Don’t worry about how it works. Trust in the Law of Attraction, and you might be surprised by the results.
Within 24 hours of a New Moon, find a personal check from your checkbook. This timing is crucial because the energy of the New Moon enhances the power of your intentions.
Note: If you don’t have a checkbook, use a piece of paper. Write your intention as if you are writing a check.
In the box where you normally write the amount in numbers, write “Paid in full.” This phrase symbolizes that your request is already fulfilled. On the line where you usually write the amount in words, specify your request. For example, write “abundance of love,” “abundance of contract signings,” or “abundance of energy.” This step clarifies your intention and tells the Universe exactly what you desire.
Note: On your piece of paper, write your intention clearly. For example, “I ask the Universe for an abundance of love,” “I ask the Universe for an abundance of career opportunities,” etc.
Write the current date or the date immediately following the New Moon. This action grounds your intention in the present moment, reinforcing that you are ready to receive your abundance now.

Show Gratitude Instead of the “pay to the order of” field, write “Thank you, Universe.” Expressing gratitude in advance shows your trust and appreciation for the abundance you are about to receive. It creates a positive energy that attracts more good into your life.

Instead of your signature, sign the check as “The Law of Abundance” or “The Universe.” This act symbolizes that you are handing over your intention to a higher power, trusting that it will be fulfilled. It reinforces your faith in the process and in the abundance that is coming your way.

Gratitude and faith are essential components of the Abundance Check Ritual. By expressing gratitude, you acknowledge the blessings you already have and open yourself up to receiving more. Faith, on the other hand, keeps your belief strong that the Universe will provide. Together, they create a powerful mindset for manifesting your desires.

After completing your check, place it in your nightstand drawer, your wallet, or anywhere it will be safe and out of sight. The Universe will start working on your intention from that moment. Alternatively, you can display it where you will see it often, helping your mind embrace the idea of receiving abundance. Choose what feels right for you. You can keep the check as long as you want. If your intention changes, feel free to discard the check.
Once your intention is realized, you can tear up or burn the check with gratitude, acknowledging that you’re thankful for the manifestation and ready to move on to a new intention.
