Each decade of television offers numerous shows that will appeal to each sign of the Zodiac. This article will select a series that exemplifies the type of storytelling, characters, and visuals that will entertain which sign the most from the 1970s.

The 1970s Television: Before the Cable Revolution

According to the California Cable & Telecommunications Association, 1984 was the year cable got “turned loose”. Before cable TV became common in households there were essentially four network companies:

  • ABC – American Broadcasting Company
  • CBS – Columbia Broadcasting System
  • NBC – National Broadcasting Company
  • PBS – Public Broadcasting System

American households received television broadcasts through antenna placed on the roofs of homes and buildings or on top of televisions, which were affectionately called “rabbit ears”.
